Luck in the Flow of Life in Todos Santos
Luck in the Flow of Life in Todos Santos.

I got really lucky in the flow of life!
I am living in an incredibly beautiful house in Mexico for a week. Life is a really great ride when you swim with the tide. One day you are in Eugene, Oregon, trying to figure out how to get to another town called Grants Pass, but you do not want to take the bus. So, you put up an ad on Craigslist saying that you need a lift. The next morning a girl contacts you to offer a ride but wants you to send her a photo to prove that you are not a creep. You send her a photo and trick her into thinking you are not.
In the car during the voyage, you mention to her that might want to go to Mexico. Ride-share Comrade introduces her friend to you who is actually driving to Mexico on a trip even more epic than the journey you were considering. You get in a Land Rover with that friend and her two dogs. You spend the next two days driving through the United States and then the next three down Baja California into the Mexican peninsula. You get to a glorious and secluded beach house at the bottom of Baja California and spent the day swimming in the ocean. And now you have three new friends, one human and two canine. You find yourself living there for the next week.
So freaking awesome!
The flow of life!
This is what it all looks like:

The ocean-side walls are actually eight sliding patio doors the open fully so that there are not actually walls.

And that no walls business is pretty incredible because it allows you to look at the ocean like this…
Kristen and I went out for pizza and wine for dinner. We were in quite a restaurant as the walkway to the wall-less business was lined on both sides with a garden. From that patch, the vegetables for your pizza are picked fresh to make your meal. That is pretty amazing and something I have never encountered before. I was hoping to see a guy running around in the garden with a flashlight, but I guess we got there too early!

Big thumbs up for to Todos Santos. I have lived there off and on for years!
Thank you for helping my sis get to Mexico. I enjoy your photos & blog. It’s nice to know my sister is alive and the dogs are well.
Haha! I have been having a great time with her and the dogs. It is really awesome living here for the moment! I will make sure she is sorted out and ready for the awesome isolation in a couple of days when I head out.
Thanks for reading Malinda! You have an awesome sister!
